Apple started manufacturing iPhones in India to lower the prices to boost its sales. India is one of the market where the iPhones are priced much higher compared to other countries.
There's no word regarding the price of the iPhone SE, but it should cost less. Apple launched the iPhone SE in India at Rs. 39,999 last year in India. However, currently the 32GB Space Grey iPhone SE sells for around 22,000. This means the 'Made in India' iPhone SE will cost below Rs. 22,000.
