Asus at Computex 2017 introduced a couple of Windows 10 convertible and laptops. It also announced a new dual-band wireless router called Blue Cave.
Blue Cave utilizes Intel's technology and uses Intel's WiFi chipset, and Asus claims that the device can deliver ultra-fast AC2600-class concurrent dual-band WiFi speeds throughout the home ensuring smooth 4K UHD video streaming, lag-free gaming and fast file downloads.
Thanks to the specially designed internal antennas, the router gets a stylish and elegant antenaa less design, which features a unique and attractive Blue colored hole in the middle. This hole is called "central aperture" and directs the WiFi signal.
It is equipped with commercial-grade ASUS AiPrortection security, powered by Trend Micro Smart Home Network to provide free-to-life security solution to protect every connected smart devices on the network including IoT devices.
Apart from PC, Blue Cave can also be controlled via smartphone or tablet using an app for monitoring network activity, controlling internet usage, security reports and more. It also supports IFTTT allowing users to intergrate Blue Cave with other IFTTT enabled digital devices and services to create smart automated tasks.
The Blue Cave us priced at $180 (Rs. 11,600), and Asus is yet to reveal an availability date.
