Meizu India teases launch of Meizu M6 Note and Pro 7
For the last few days Meizu has been teasing the launch of two smartphones in India. The hints dropped by the teaser suggest that, the company will release the battery centric Meizu M6 Note and dual-screen toting Meizu Pro 7. Sadly, a launch date is yet to be announced by Meizu.
Having said that, the specs sheet of both the phones are already known, as they were unveiled in China earlier this year.
Starting with the Meizu M6 Note, it was introduced back in August and is a mid-range phone featuring dual-camera and beefy battery capacity. It features 5.5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 625 processor, 12MP+5MP dual rear camera, 16MP front facing camera w/ quad-LED flash, fingerprint scanner and 4000mAh battery. It runs Android Nougat based Flyme OS 6 and comes in three RAM/storage configuration: 3GB/16GB, 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB, and color options include Black, Blue and Gold.
The Meizu Pro 7 on the other hand is a dual-screen phone featuring 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display at the front, and a secondary 1.9-inch Super AMOLED color display at the back. The secondary display shows notifications of calls, messages, social media and more; as well as weather updates and time. Users can also use the small screen as a mirror when capturing image from rear camera, or simply set a live wallpaper.
As for the other specs, the Meizu Pro 7 comes with 12MP dual cameras, 16MP selfie camera, 3000mAh battery, USB Type-C, (3.5mm audio jack also present), fingerprint scanner and offered in two configurations: MediaTek Helio P25/4GB RAM/64GB storage or MediaTek Helio X30/4GB RAM/128GB storage. It runs Android Nougat based Flyme 6 OS out of the box.
There's also a souped up version called Pro 7 Plus, and features 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display, deca-core MediaTek Helio X30 processor, 6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB storage and 3500mAh battery. Both Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus comes in Black, Siler, Gold and Red hues.
It is not known if all the variants or select models of Meizu M6 Note and M7 Pro will be released in the country. We can expect Meizu to announce the launch date soon.
